We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the day-to-day operations of a growing organization. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing operational strategies, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring business performance meets or exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of operational excellence, financial acumen, and executive-level decision-making.
Position Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations and ensure all business functions align with strategic goals.
- Develop and implement scalable systems and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with the executive team to define business objectives and drive long-term growth.
- Translate strategic vision into actionable operational plans with measurable results.
Team Development
- Lead and mentor senior leadership and departmental heads to build high-performing teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and key financial metrics in coordination with the CFO.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational risks, ensuring financial targets are met.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and board of directors.
- Represent operations in strategic partnerships, vendor relationships, and external collaborations.
Prerequisites
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operational or executive role.
- Demonstrated success leading business operations in complex, high-growth environments.
- Strong understanding of business strategy, financial modeling, and operational analytics.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
