We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Corporate Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives for a global manufacturer of highly engineered precision components in the aerospace and defense industries. This high-impact role will focus on expanding the company’s presence in key market segments by identifying and converting new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and aligning internal resources to drive profitable results.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct and present comprehensive market research and competitive analysis for executive leadership.
- Lead business development efforts across market segments and provide regular status updates.
- Track and report on corporate-level business opportunities and project pipelines.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with divisional teams and external sales partners.
- Act as a liaison across Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to enhance customer experience and solution delivery.
- Develop effective marketing and presentation materials to clearly communicate the company’s value proposition.
- Support online marketing initiatives in collaboration with divisional stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and lead contract negotiations with strategic customers.
- Champion initiatives that grow revenue, expand customer base, and increase market share.
- Travel as needed to support sales activities, customer engagement, and industry events.
- Perform additional duties and lead special projects as assigned.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Management field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or sales management within aerospace and defense manufacturing.
- Direct experience in the bearing industry is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and customer engagement.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) or Education & Certifications
- Advanced business training, certifications in sales strategy, or relevant industry certifications are a plus.
