- Oversee quality systems to guarantee all products meet strict specification criteria.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Customer Service teams to ensure preferred service levels are met.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of product formulation, machine batch sequencing, and product application in line with industry standards.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment meets benchmark targets and environmental regulations.
- Manage resources efficiently to adhere to cost budgets.
- Maintain full compliance with internal financial control standards, plant business plans, and continuity strategies.
Reporting Structure:
- This role reports directly to the Finishing Operations Manager and is responsible for managing a significant fiscal budget.
Travel and Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The position involves up to 5% travel and includes direct leadership of up to 4 staff members and indirect oversight of up to 15 personnel.
Qualifications:
- A BA or BS degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred, supplemented by extensive technical training and a comprehensive understanding of plant leadership.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant manufacturing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in progressive plant leadership roles.
- Proven track record in team leadership and development.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SAP database management, ladder logic, HMI, and ERP systems.
- Experience in warehouse and inventory management, including international shipping standards.
