Senior Manufacturing Engineer Job Opening Responsibilities:

  • Execute and oversee complex engineering design and analyses, providing technical leadership in troubleshooting, design, development, training, performance, and equipment maintenance to support manufacturing.
  • Deliver task and project level updates to all appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and present, when necessary, to communicate statuses, problem resolutions, and/or recommendations.
  • Evaluate the equipment and systems needed to achieve objectives.
  • Support the specification of new processes and designs, along with the development, installation, and qualification of new equipment.
  • Innovate and enhance old procedures and processes.
  • Monitor and rectify any quality issues associated with manufacturing processes.
  • Implement design improvements to facilitate cost-effective manufacturing operations, creating alternative solutions for more economical operations.
  • In cooperation with the Purchasing department, suggest and develop new manufacturing sources.
  • Utilize modern engineering science theories (like lean manufacturing concepts, six-sigma methodology, and statistical process analysis) to continuously improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze and recommend the utilization of technological innovations in machinery and manufacturing techniques to solve complex manufacturing problems.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer Job Opening Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with NDE ultrasonic or eddy current technology will be considered a plus.

This role will be based in York, PA, and report to the Project Engineering Manager.   • Apply machine control technology to new and existing equipment and provide electrical engineering design services.
  • Participate in control system design activities, developing and implementing HMI and soft-PLC modifications.
  • Program logical machine functions with IEC61131 programming tools and design HMI interfaces with graphical development tools.
  • Create schematics, detail drawings, BOM’s, and panel layouts using AutoCAD.

Philadelphia Purchasing Manager Overview:

The Purchasing Manager’s main job will be to bring about responsible and efficient purchasing strategies to the company’s location near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He or she will additionally be charged with sustaining improved supplier relationships in the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area as well. The Purchasing Manager will need to take into account several factors when selecting a preferred supplier, including cost, quality, and expediency of supplies. For this job, he or she will be managing a team of Buyers. The Purchasing Manager will have several direct reports, will be a part of the organization’s supply chain department (at the Philadelphia location), and will report directly to the company’s VP of Supply Chain. 

Philadelphia Purchasing Manager Job Opening

  • The primary role of the Purchasing Manager will be to optimize purchasing strategy at two company locations near greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
  • He or she will need to negotiate with vendors in order to cut down costs and improve relations.
  • The Purchasing Manager will need to maintain part and inventory parameters by utilize the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning System.
  • There is moderate travel in and outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that is required for this job.
  • The Purchasing Manager will take on any additional jobs as assigned by the company’s VP of Supply Chain at the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania site. 
Purchasing Manager (Philadelphia Area) Job Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the defense industry, is required for this job.
  • A 4 year degree in a supply chain or business-related field is required for this job.
  • Strong negotiation abilities, as well as procurement abilities, are required for this job.
