Senior Manufacturing Engineer Job Opening Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee complex engineering design and analyses, providing technical leadership in troubleshooting, design, development, training, performance, and equipment maintenance to support manufacturing.
- Deliver task and project level updates to all appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and present, when necessary, to communicate statuses, problem resolutions, and/or recommendations.
- Evaluate the equipment and systems needed to achieve objectives.
- Support the specification of new processes and designs, along with the development, installation, and qualification of new equipment.
- Innovate and enhance old procedures and processes.
- Monitor and rectify any quality issues associated with manufacturing processes.
- Implement design improvements to facilitate cost-effective manufacturing operations, creating alternative solutions for more economical operations.
- In cooperation with the Purchasing department, suggest and develop new manufacturing sources.
- Utilize modern engineering science theories (like lean manufacturing concepts, six-sigma methodology, and statistical process analysis) to continuously improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
- Analyze and recommend the utilization of technological innovations in machinery and manufacturing techniques to solve complex manufacturing problems.
Senior Manufacturing Engineer Job Opening Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Experience with NDE ultrasonic or eddy current technology will be considered a plus.
