Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the technical evaluation of projects and products for compatibility with existing systems.
  • Spearhead the feasibility studies of projects, gathering insights from diverse teams such as Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development.
  • Oversee the entire packaging development cycle, from design and prototyping to testing. This includes streamlining manufacturing processes right from their inception to validation.
  • Examine engineering blueprints and product details to determine packaging needs considering factors like the product’s characteristics, safety needs, and material requirements.
  • Offer support to plant operations by introducing innovative packaging techniques and continual enhancement strategies.
  • Efficiently transition products post-launch to the Operations team.
  • Resolve any challenges related to packaging – be it design, material, or process – ensuring solutions are inventive, timely, and economical.
  • Handle the formulation, execution, and coordination of capital budgets pertinent to equipment and processes. Ensure all projects adhere to the stipulated budget.
