For this job, the Industrial Engineer will leverage his or her creativity and engineering ability in order to come up with methods to shorten processes that the company engineers and manufactures. The Industrial Engineer will perform time studies to cut down on various processes. The Industrial Engineer will need to conduct various labor standard studies by using mathematical model techniques. For this job, the Industrial Engineer will be a part of the Engineering department and will report directly to the Director of Engineering located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Salt Lake City Industrial Engineer Job Opening
- The Industrial Engineer will conduct time studies at the Salt Lake City, Utah plant and will utilize that data to cut down on manufacturing processes within the organization.
- For this job, the Industrial Engineer will come up with equipment capacity models and simulations.
- The Industrial Engineer will come up with status reports for the Finance and Production departments, as well as senior management at the Salt Lake City location.
- The Industrial Engineer will have to develop various ERP software to optimize fabrication production.
- There is little travel outside of Salt Lake City, Utah that is required for this job.
Industrial Engineer (Salt Lake City Area) Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required for this job.
- At least 3 years of industrial engineering experience is required for this job.
- Experience in the furniture industry.
- Kaizen certification is a plus for this job.
