  • Manage technical work on the project, delegate tasks across engineers on staff.

  • A four year degree in civil engineering.
  • A Masters of Civil Engineering would be preferable for this role.
  • At least eight years of related design experience.
  • Possession of a Structural Engineering license within the state of Illinois.
  • Familiarity with regulations concerning infrastructure design.
  • Experience working with federal and state agencies on designs.
  • Familiarity working with companies involved in infrastructure and infrastructure construction.
  • Previous experience with bridge design software.
  • Microstation and MathCAD software familiarity is a plus.
  • Able to manage several projects at once.
  • Previous experience administering a budget.
  • Able to coordinate and lead a cross functional team, also able to coordinate with outside parties to meet project objectives.
