  • The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will create a set of requirement and bring expertise to the new product development team, especially concerning post launch quality, costs, warranty, Product Net promoter Score, and productivity goals.
  • Collaborate with Service and Fulfillment throughout the launch process.
  • The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement must create, keep, revise, and complete continuous improvement tasks to make sure products meet goals (warranty rate, cost, nps) by launch.
  • Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with members of other teams to drive the process of continuous improvement.
  • Work with and train a team of engineers to encourage continuous improvement and change through teaching them improvement processes and new problem solving methods.
  • The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will work with others to ensure that messages concerning defects, action plans, project milestones, and overall progress are communicated to all concerned parties.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in furniture improvement.
  • The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will create a protocol, train all teams to that protocol, and create a system to maintain that protocol.

  • A four year degree in Engineering is required for this job.
  • At least ten years of job experience in a role performing engineering, manufacturing, or quality functions.
  • At least five years of leadership experience in progressive roles performing engineering, manufacturing, or quality functions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with others, both direct and other informal leadership skills.
  • Able to influence partners in other teams without compromising their priorities completely.
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple objectives.
  • Good decision making skills, as well as technical and analytical reasoning.
