The Boston Senior Supply Chain Manager will oversee all warehousing and shipping of products to retail & other distributors as well as direct to consumers. This job will involve interfacing with third party warehouses as well as third-party logistics carriers. The chief goal of the Senior Global Logistics and Supply Chain Manager job will be to ensure that the company’s products are accurately stored in the warehouses and delivered to distributors or consumers on time, while working out of Boston, Massachusetts and traveling.

- Manage the relationship with the third party warehouse, ensure that inventories are accurate and shipments occur on time.
- Oversee the multi-channel distribution network while in Boston, Massachusetts, understanding how to handle problems in each area with a unique set of solutions.
- Check all sales job orders and monitor ship times each day, making changes with the Boston warehouse if ship times are not on time.
- Serve as point of contact for all retail job orders, notify affected parties of problems and taking steps to rectify them.
- Manage relationships with smaller distributors while understanding their unique job specifications.
- While based in Boston, Massachusetts, the Sr. Supply Chain Manager must research and prepare protocols and SOPs for distribution in new countries.
- Organize and lead the weekly distribution conference call.
- Ensure pertinent information is shared with affected parties throughout the supply chain.
- Check warehouse data against internal company data.
- Notify warehouse to destroy obsolete or discontinued materials.
- Check and approve warehouse invoices in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The Sr. Supply Chain Manager must perform on-site visits to the warehouse periodically.
- Audit warehouse job inventory accuracy.
Sr. Supply Chain Manager (Boston Area) Job Requirements:
- For this job, a four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field is required.
- At least eight years of experience in supply chain or customer service roles.
- Great communication and customer service skills, able to work with different sorts of customers and handle a variety of demands or needs.
- Past experience managing a relationship with a third party logistics company.
- Excellent problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrated project management skills and history of successful change management.
- Able to be creative and innovate as challenges present themselves.
- Comfortable working in a face-paced environment.
- Able to work with a team with cross functional roles.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft office.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
