  • This job will promote teamwork through training, development, talent management, and mentoring in order to maintain efficient production in a safe environment.
  • The Value Stream Manager forecasts labor requirements and identifies possible improvements in plant layout, material handling, or production methods to best meet these requirements.
  • This job has a continuous improvement focus. The Value Stream Manager should identify opportunities for improvement and implement new strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and create cost saving opportunities.
  • The Value Stream Manager should meet and exceed customer expectations, improve employee satisfaction, and exceed P&L expectations while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Value Stream Manager (Detroit, MI Area) Job Requirements:  

  • This job requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Degrees in engineering are preferred.
  • Previous experience (at least 3 years) in a manufacturing environment is expected for this job. Experience within the aerospace industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives is also necessary for this role.
  • Previous work and experience utilizing ERP systems are also expected.
  • This job requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
