Oklahoma City Purchasing Manager Overview:
The Oklahoma City Okalohoma Purchasing Manager will be responsible for all purchasing activities and inventory management at the facility. The Oklahoma City Purchasing Manager will perform research to determine prospective vendors for raw materials and other materials. Additionally, the Oklahoma City Purchasing Manager will negotiate with vendors to achieve the best rates available. He or She will perform research on new vendors and open negotiations when current vendors fail to meet expectations. F
Oklahoma City Purchasing Manager Job Opening
- The Oklahoma City Purchasing Manager will develop and foster relationships with vendors in order to negotiate better rates for services and materials.
- Develop and enforce purchasing policies, as well as maintain compliance with policies in all purchasing activities.
- The Oklahoma City Purchasing Manager will work with vendors when shipments/deliveries are late and seek compensation when necessary.
- Ensure that all purchasing activities conform to US law.
- Ensure the all activities are in line with safety and other corporate guidelines.
Purchasing Manager (Oklahoma City Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
- A minimum of five years of purchasing, preferably in steel or plastic purchasing
A proven business acumen and leadership abilities- Familiar with vendor management software and KPI experience
- Excellent problem solving and mathematical skills.
- High level of familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially excel.
