Houston Material Planner Overview:
The Materials Planner, to be located in the greater Houston, TX area, will be primarily responsible for ensuring adequate inventory necessary for production plans. This Houston based job will involve analysis of weekly needs and ordering of necessary packages to support manufacturing. The Houston area Materials Planner will work with other supply chain personnel to ensure desired resources are present and that inventory is utilized in a timely manner. Overall, the Material Planner, based in the greater Houston area, will use APO-SNP software in order to determine inventory required, balance days on hand, in order to optimize product manufacturing and delivery.
Houston Material Planner Job Opening
- The Material Planner is responsible for planning inventory to meet production demand in order to optimize production.

Material Planner (Houston Area) Job Requirements:
- This job requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of experience in a production or supply chain planning role is required.
- Previous experience with SAP planning, APO-SNP preferred, is absolutely necessary for this role.
- This job will also require excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills are also required in order to communicate between customer, supplier, and production associates.
