St. Paul Robotics Technician Overview:
The St. Paul, Minnesota area Robotics Technician will be responsible for providing robotic/automation support for production operations, installing and programming new workcells and robots, and performing preventative maintenance on workcells and robots. Also, the St. Paul, Minnesota area Robotics Technician will need to strive for continuous improvement, repair or replace defective components, complete and lead complex projects, keep documents and records up to date and accurate and may assist with training workcell operators and/or technicians. The Robotics Technician will also work with vision systems, automated coating machines and other related equipment.

- This job requires proficiency in advanced mechanical assemblies, sensor technology, pneumatics and vision setup/adjustments.
- The St. Paul, Minnesota Robotics Technician idea candidate will have previous experience with automation, robot controls and vision systems.
- The Robotics Technician needs to have required vision abilities including, camera/lens set up, vision tool set-up and calibration for part present/absent features.
- This Job requires the ability to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic.
- The St. Paul, Minnesota Robotics Technician will have approximately 10% international travel requirement.

- Associates degree, or 5 years related experience/training.
- Advanced robot, PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with advanced robotic repairs.
- General math skills.
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatics blueprints.
