  • The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will create a set of requirement and bring expertise to the new product development team, especially concerning post launch quality, costs, warranty, Product Net promoter Score, and productivity goals.
  • Collaborate with Service and Fulfillment throughout the launch process.

  • Notify the appropriate staff whenever there are significant defects or errors.
  • Keep and constantly improve a knowledge of quality processes and trends in manufacturing quality assurance through classes and educational workshops, staying current with professional publications, communicating with other quality professionals, and maintaining membership in professional societies.
Quality Engineer (Fort Wayne) Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of five to seven years of job experience in a manufacturing or quality engineering role.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, and familiar with tolerances and symbols.
  • Apt problem solving skills, and a familiarity with DMAIC procedures.
  • Quality engineer or quality associate certification.
  • Previous experience in a quality role from an automotive OEM is strongly preferable.
