Grand Rapids Quality Assurance Manager Job Opening

  • Oversee and execute quality control programs.
  • The Grand Rapids Quality Assurance Manager will develop and enact plans and procedures for quality assurance. Establish internal standards that are in line with and exceed external quality standards.
  • Supervise, direct, and coach quality assurance personnel.
  • Perform regular evaluations of suppliers, develop a strong relationship with the supplier company.
  • The Grand Rapids Quality Assurance Manager will enact quality initiatives to reach objectives.
  • Perform cost analyses and recommend changes in order to meet financial goals.
  • Lead in performing root cause analyses, find control points, and make corrective changes to eliminate errors.
  • The Grand Rapids Quality Assurance Manager will establish quality specifications for each product, train quality personnel in identifying conforming and nonconforming parts.
  • Write and distribute quality assurance procedures regularly.
  • Plan and perform audits to maintain and improve quality.
  • Develop and distribute quality reports.
  • Interface regularly with engineering staff and suppliers to identify and correct quality issues.
  • Serve as a point of contact and liaison for customers on quality issues
Quality Assurance Manager (Grand Rapids Area) Job Requirements:
  • A four year degree in a discipline of engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of six years of professional quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem solving skills; able to gather information, determine facts, and come to a rational conclusion.
  • Familiarity with methods and techniques of quality assurance.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
