We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Distribution Manager to lead multi-site warehouse operations. This role is ideal for a strategic leader passionate about driving efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional customer service across a high-volume distribution environment.
Position Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee all day-to-day operations across inbound, outbound, and supporting departments.
- Ensure high standards of accuracy, safety, and performance throughout warehouse functions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team of nearly 500 warehouse employees.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence in service delivery.
Process Improvement & Performance Monitoring
- Implement performance metrics and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize operations.
- Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of management experience in high-volume distribution centers.
- Proven ability to recruit, lead, and motivate large teams (300+ employees).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with WMS and performance metrics is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Lean/Six Sigma Certification
- Logistics or Supply Chain Management certifications
