We are seeking a highly disciplined and detail-driven Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and third-party logistics performance. This role is critical to ensuring operational truth across inventory, order flow, freight, and cost control. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, relentlessly precise, and driven by data, systems integrity, and long-term operational durability rather than short-term fixes.

- Design and enforce cycle counts, spot audits, and physical inventories
- Perform root-cause analysis on variances and implement permanent corrective actions

- Maintain daily visibility into inventory reconciliations and variance trends
Warehouse & 3PL Leadership

- Direct, train, and correct 3PL staff to ensure compliance with operational expectations
- Enforce performance standards regardless of vendor convenience
- Maintain strong on-site presence and operational fluency on the warehouse floor
Order Flow & Systems Integrity
- Ensure seamless order flow across eCommerce, OMS, accounting, inventory systems, and 3PL
- Identify and resolve system breakdowns before they impact customers
- Build controls to prevent incorrect or incomplete orders from releasing
- Eliminate assumptions through data verification and process validation
Cost Discipline & Operational Accountability
- Audit 3PL invoices and identify cost leakage, accessorials, and inefficiencies
- Develop vendor scorecards and performance metrics
- Lead renegotiation or restructuring of logistics and warehouse partnerships when needed
- Treat operational inefficiencies as direct financial losses requiring action
Freight Management (Inbound & Domestic)
- Manage inbound container freight and domestic LTL strategies
- Understand rate drivers, accessorial risks, and carrier performance
- Re-bid, negotiate, and shift providers to optimize cost and service
- Maintain ongoing market awareness of freight and logistics trends
Documentation, SOPs & Process Durability
- Build clear SOPs, workflows, layouts, and operational documentation
- Create repeatable systems that scale and do not rely on tribal knowledge
- Leverage technology and AI tools to institutionalize best practices
Performance Measurement & Data Management
- Design and track KPIs tied to inventory accuracy, order flow, cost, and vendor performance
- Use data to drive accountability and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with finance and accounting teams on reconciliations and reporting
Prerequisites
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations and 3PL partners
- Deep expertise in inventory management, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of freight, logistics cost structures, and vendor contracts
- Data-driven mindset with strong Excel and systems fluency
- Ability to lead through competence, structure, and consistency
- Comfortable enforcing standards and addressing issues directly
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)

- Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement credentials
