We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, support bidding processes, and collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project planning. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Position Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Bidding
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop competitive bids.
Project Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, and Operations to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Provide recommendations to optimize project costs and resource allocation.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and supporting documentation.
- Provide reports and summaries to management to support decision-making.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, costs, and best practices.
Prerequisites
- Proven experience in construction, engineering, or related estimating roles.
- Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Certifications in construction estimating or project management (e.g., AACE, PMP).
