We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Supply Chain to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, cost savings, and operational excellence while ensuring timely delivery of products and services. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex supply chain networks.
Position Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Monitor key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Oversee procurement processes, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital while meeting customer demand.
- Coordinate logistics, distribution, and transportation to ensure timely delivery.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Finance to align supply chain initiatives with company goals.
- Support new product launches and operational expansion efforts.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in senior supply chain leadership roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- APICS/CSCP, Six Sigma, or other supply chain-related certifications.
