We are seeking a competitive, money-motivated, and outgoing Outside Sales Representative who thrives on building strong customer relationships and driving sales success. This individual should be confident, personable, and eager to engage customers beyond traditional sales tactics—hosting events, attending sports outings, dinners, fishing trips, golf outings, and more.
We are potentially hiring 2–3 sales representatives to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is not afraid of early mornings (7:30 a.m. job-site appointments are standard) and is ready to take on the challenges of an active, hands-on sales role in the construction supply industry. Overnight concrete pours and field visits are not uncommon for this fast-paced and rewarding position.
Position Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, and procurement professionals.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals ranging from $125,000–$200,000, depending on experience.
- Present products and solutions effectively to customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Customer Engagement
- Represent the company in a professional and personable manner at customer events.
- Coordinate client entertainment activities such as sports events, golf outings, and dinners to strengthen partnerships.
- Provide exceptional service, responsiveness, and follow-through to maintain long-term client relationships.
Industry Awareness
- Maintain a strong understanding of construction supply products, materials, and industry trends.
- Leverage competitor knowledge to identify opportunities and improve market positioning.
- Engage with field professionals to stay informed about project timelines, requirements, and purchasing cycles.
Prerequisites
- Proven sales experience, preferably in construction materials, contractor supply, or a related field.
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
- Comfortable with early starts and occasional overnight project requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Sales or Business Development Certification

What the Role Offers
- Base Salary: $30,000 annually
- Commission: 6–10% of gross profit based on goal attainment (commission paid after reaching 75% of quota)
- Sales Goals: $125,000–$200,000 per month, depending on experience
