We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead and support all aspects of human resources operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner who can balance organizational goals with employee engagement, compliance, and development. This role requires a strong communicator with expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and HR policy implementation. The HR Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR processes align with business objectives.
Position Responsibilities
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Address employee concerns promptly and professionally to ensure fair and consistent resolutions.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction.
Talent Acquisition and Development
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the selection of high-quality candidates.
- Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans.
- Implement training and development programs that enhance employee skills and support career growth.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
HR Compliance and Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Review, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to reflect organizational needs.
- Oversee performance management and compensation review processes.
Strategic HR Leadership
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Support organizational change initiatives through effective communication and transition planning.
- Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of HR laws, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Certification
- OSHA or Safety Certification
