We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from conception through completion. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring that all deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements. The ideal candidate is results-driven, detail-oriented, and excels in stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination.
Position Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, from initiation and planning to execution and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Oversee project teams and provide clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure project success.
- Encourage a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Budgeting and Reporting
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial performance aligns with goals.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation, including change orders and progress updates, is maintained accurately.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct project reviews to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive process consistency and best practices across project teams.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
- 8+ years of experience managing large-scale or complex projects across multiple disciplines.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
