We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of product and process quality management within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that quality objectives are achieved through effective systems, processes, and team collaboration. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across operations.
Position Responsibilities
Quality Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and implement short- and long-term quality objectives aligned with company goals.
- Recommend policies and programs to enhance competitiveness, efficiency, and profitability.
- Lead the organization’s quality strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Operational Quality Management
- Coordinate and manage all quality operations using contemporary techniques such as FMEA, process flow analysis, and total quality management.
- Oversee internal, supplier, and field product quality issues, ensuring timely root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce waste and improve process reliability.
Certification and Compliance Oversight
- Manage company quality certifications, including AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
- Serve as the company’s Quality Management Representative and lead management review meetings.
Quality Systems and Data Management
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and document control systems.
- Track and analyze quality metrics, customer portal data, and supplier performance.
- Prepare and present reports on quality trends, performance indicators, and improvement actions.
Team Leadership and Development
- Supervise and develop the quality assurance team to ensure consistent application of standards and procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across all quality functions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of significant management experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, TQM, Lean, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronics or aerospace manufacturing environments preferred.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
