We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Division Vice President to provide executive leadership and operational direction across all facets of the business. This individual will be responsible for driving performance, profitability, and growth within the division by setting clear goals, fostering collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leading multi-site operations, developing high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable business results.
Position Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the division’s strategic objectives in alignment with corporate goals.
- Oversee operations, sales, finance, and human resources to ensure the achievement of performance targets.
- Lead the annual planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement across all business functions.
Operational Excellence
- Drive efficiency and productivity through data-driven performance management.
- Ensure operational consistency and compliance across all sites and departments.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and service.
- Promote best practices in lean manufacturing, cost management, and resource utilization.
People and Culture Leadership
- Build and mentor a leadership team capable of achieving strategic objectives.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, empowerment, and collaboration.
- Partner with HR to ensure talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives are in place.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within all aspects of the organization.
Business Growth and Customer Focus
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and customer relationships.
- Partner with the commercial team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable delivery, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and guide mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships as part of long-term growth plans.
Financial Stewardship
- Manage divisional P&L and ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyze financial results and recommend operational adjustments for optimal performance.
- Ensure sound financial practices, budget discipline, and adherence to compliance standards.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Organizational Leadership (preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations.
- 8+ years in senior management or multi-site leadership roles.
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience exceeding $100M.
- Demonstrated success in operational excellence, business transformation, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Executive Leadership or Strategy Certification
