We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and lead teams to achieve operational excellence. Position Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead plant operations to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to drive productivity and operational performance.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance plant output and cost-effectiveness.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety through regular training, audits, and enforcement of best practices.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and industry standards.
Team Management & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and develop plant staff to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that supports employee engagement and retention.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to ensure continuous growth and accountability.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, reliability, and upgrades.
Financial Oversight
- Manage plant budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align plant performance with organizational goals.
Prerequisites
- Proven leadership experience as a Plant Manager or in a senior manufacturing role.
- Strong background in operations, production, and process improvement.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with manufacturing systems and ERP tools.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
- Occupational Safety and Health certifications.
