We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy machinery and related equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the facility and in the field.
Position Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure repairs meet safety and operational standards.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
- Use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify issues.
- Recommend and carry out effective repair solutions.
- Verify equipment performance after maintenance or repair.
Parts & Record Management
- Order and manage replacement parts as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of services and repairs performed.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Perform inspections to ensure equipment is compliant and reliable.
Prerequisites
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- ASE Certification in Heavy Equipment or Diesel Mechanics.
- OSHA safety certification.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
