We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager in driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and team development. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Position Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Support the General Manager in reinforcing a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.
- Lead by example through integrity, professionalism, and open communication.
- Provide guidance and oversight to supervisors and staff, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
Revenue Growth Support
- Assist in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities.
- Support proposal preparation, pricing strategies, and client presentations.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage retention and referrals.
Operational Excellence & Project Management
- Oversee day-to-day field operations to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and resource utilization.
- Provide tactical direction to ensure projects are completed on scope, schedule, and budget.
Financial Performance Support
- Partner with the General Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Monitor operational and financial performance metrics, addressing risks and opportunities proactively.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve profitability.
Talent Development & Team Building
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development efforts.
- Mentor supervisors and team members, promoting professional growth.
- Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Prerequisites
- 10+ years of experience in operations management or a related leadership role.
- Proven track record in supporting revenue growth and operational success.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Leadership or management training certifications.
