We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Manufacturing Solution Development Engineer to drive solution development efforts within a high-volume manufacturing and R&D environment. This role goes beyond standard manufacturing engineering, focusing on R&D integration, data-driven process improvements, and semiconductor-related solution development to advance manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and experience working with device matching and high-volume R&D in manufacturing settings.
Position Responsibilities
Solution Development & R&D Integration
- Support manufacturing-focused R&D initiatives, bridging the gap between research and production environments
- Develop solutions for high-volume R&D challenges, ensuring manufacturability and scalability
- Apply data-driven analysis to evaluate and improve device matching and semiconductor-related processes
Process Engineering & Optimization
- Design, test, and validate new processes and methods for improved efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into production environments
- Provide technical expertise on process design and optimization, supporting both short-term fixes and long-term roadmap goals
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with engineering teams and leadership to drive innovation in solution development
- Mentor and guide team members in applying structured problem-solving and data analysis
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing engineering with exposure to high-volume R&D or semiconductor-related work
- Strong background in data-driven analysis and statistical methods
- Proven ability to support new solution development and process integration in manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Relevant certifications in semiconductor or process engineering fields
