We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our client’s team. While the position is listed under Manufacturing Engineering, this role has a strong R&D focus and requires expertise in solution formulation and device knowledge. Candidates with a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering background are strongly preferred, as the team is moving from lab-scale development into high-volume manufacturing.
Position Responsibilities
Solution Formulation
- Mix and modify perovskite solutions with precision and consistency
- Develop and optimize formulations for scalability
Device Development
- Apply knowledge of perovskite devices in experimental setups and testing
- Support transition from prototype to production-ready designs
Process Scale-Up
- Contribute to process development aimed at high-volume manufacturing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate R&D findings into manufacturing practices
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience with perovskite solution formulation
- Strong understanding of perovskite devices and their applications
- Proven ability to contribute to both R&D and manufacturing environments
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification
- Lean Manufacturing certification
