We are seeking a Site Supply Chain Director to lead, plan, and execute all supply chain processes for a major manufacturing site. This role encompasses industrial planning, materials planning, and logistics operations, with responsibility for aligning local initiatives with regional and global supply chain strategies. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with strong operational expertise, capable of building a robust supply chain culture, optimizing performance, and delivering on quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
Position Responsibilities
Strategy
- Adapt and deploy supply chain strategy and footprint in line with regional and local objectives.
- Drive alignment between site-specific goals and corporate supply chain vision.
Standards (Process, Methods & Tools)
- Implement global supply chain standards, processes, methods, and tools.
- Manage the deployment roadmap and ensure adherence across operations.
Transversal Process & Tools
- Identify site needs and define local requirements for transversal processes and tools.
- Contribute to process/tool improvements, validation, and integration.
Human Resources
- Implement targeted organizational structures for supply chain functions.
- Develop a people development roadmap, including training, skills enhancement, and qualification pathways.
- Promote a strong supply chain culture at all organizational levels.
Finance
- Prepare and manage budgets for the supply chain perimeter.
- Identify and leverage synergies and process improvement initiatives for cost optimization.
Performance & Design
- Monitor, achieve, and report on supply chain KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with process reviews and audits.
- Manage S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and MPS (Master Production Scheduling) for the site.
- Support projects to meet QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments and represent supply chain in site management committees.
- Coordinate industrial planning, project supply chain, material planning, supplier delivery performance, and logistics with relevant departments.
EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
- Ensure operations comply with all corporate health, safety, and environmental policies.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in an industrial environment, with at least 10 years in supply chain leadership roles.
- Strong ERP management expertise.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
