We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Engineer Manager to lead, develop, and oversee control system projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership capabilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide teams in delivering reliable, efficient, and innovative control solutions.
Position Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of control engineers to ensure high-quality project execution
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement within the engineering team
Project Oversight
- Oversee the design, programming, and implementation of control systems
- Ensure all projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines
Technical Expertise
- Provide hands-on support in PLC programming, HMI design, and automation system troubleshooting
- Recommend improvements to control systems for performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in controls engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation technologies
- Strong project management and communication skills
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
- Rockwell Automation or Siemens Certification
