We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to join our client’s team and lead the execution of strategic initiatives across multiple departments including development, property operations, technology, and finance. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a broad portfolio of projects, providing structure, accountability, and visibility to ensure successful outcomes.
Position Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Manage the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional projects
- Align project execution with strategic business goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders across construction, development, IT, operations, and finance
Planning & Execution
- Build and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations
- Track progress against KPIs and delivery milestones
- Apply PMO standards to ensure compliance, scope control, and quality assurance
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify risks and dependencies early; implement effective mitigation plans
- Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth collaboration across internal teams and vendors
Reporting & Communication
- Deliver regular status updates and executive reporting
- Maintain visibility across portfolios to inform leadership and drive accountability
Vendor & Partner Oversight
- Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and implementation partners
- Lead or support RFP processes including vendor evaluation and selection
Process Improvement
- Support PMO maturity through process optimization, documentation, and coaching
- Capture and share lessons learned for continuous improvement
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction, Real Estate, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Background in the real estate or multifamily industry is an asset
- Proficiency in project tools such as MS Project or Jira
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PgMP (Program Management Professional)
- Agile or Scrum-related certification
