We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Integrated Planning to lead end-to-end demand and supply planning functions across a dynamic supply chain operation. This role is key to ensuring optimized inventory management, capacity planning, and a robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and a passion for building agile, data-driven planning systems. Working cross-functionally with teams across the enterprise, this leader will play a critical role in shaping the future of supply chain excellence.
Position Responsibilities
Integrated Planning Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of an integrated demand and supply planning strategy that aligns with business goals
- Champion continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and systems
SAP IBP Implementation & Optimization
- Oversee the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP IBP across demand, supply, and inventory functions
- Ensure seamless integration with ERP and cross-functional workflows
Demand Planning Strategy
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to build accurate, collaborative demand forecasts
- Use predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness
Supply & Capacity Planning
- Lead capacity and production planning strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
- Manage network-wide inventory in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Drive the monthly S&OP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and strategic planning
- Facilitate scenario modeling and proactive decision-making based on business needs
New Product & Portfolio Management
- Plan for new product introductions, end-of-life transitions, and product lifecycle management
- Ensure smooth rollouts and optimized inventory levels across transitions
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and grow a high-performing planning team
- Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to drive alignment and integration
- Act as a key liaison between planning and enterprise functions to support business continuity
Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Establish KPIs around forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, waste reduction, and service levels
- Drive a culture of performance accountability and innovation
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree required
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
APICS CPIM, CSCP, or SAP IBP Certification
Preferred Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years in supply chain planning with a focus on demand/supply integration
- Proven leadership in implementing and optimizing SAP IBP systems
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with data modeling and scenario planning
- Demonstrated success leading S&OP processes and managing cross-functional teams
- Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries preferred
- Excellent communication, change management, and leadership skills
