We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead and optimize quality assurance operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires a highly skilled problem solver with deep expertise in statistical analysis, lean process management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma and a proven track record in Kaizen events and DMAIC methodology.
Position Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Drive lean process management activities including Kaizen events, DMAIC problem-solving, and operational excellence programs
Quality Control Oversight
- Oversee quality control processes ensuring compliance with ISO and other industry standards
- Utilize statistical tools to monitor defects, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product reliability and process consistency
- Manage supplier quality assessments to ensure raw materials meet specifications and performance expectations
Team Development and Reporting
- Mentor and train quality engineers and production staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Develop and present quality metrics and reports to senior leadership for strategic decision-making
Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate risk factors in manufacturing processes, implementing preventive measures to ensure production stability
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 8–15 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, and process improvement
- Expertise in statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, SPC, DOE, and regression analysis
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage quality assurance programs in industries such as electrical utilities, aerospace, automotive, or electronics
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with hands-on experience in Kaizen events and DMAIC methodology
