We are seeking a forward-thinking and strategically driven Plant Manager to lead a high-impact manufacturing operation. Position Responsibilities
Strategic Operations Leadership
- Set and drive the strategic direction for plant performance, aligning with organizational goals and manufacturing excellence
- Identify and implement long-term improvements in plant efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization
- Develop and manage capital improvement plans in coordination with senior leadership
Team and Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of department heads and supervisors
- Build accountability across the plant workforce through clear KPIs and performance management systems
- Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Production Oversight
- Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
- Drive operational consistency across shifts, departments, and process lines
- Optimize resource planning including labor, materials, and equipment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, and HR teams to ensure alignment on plant priorities
- Represent plant interests in executive meetings and contribute to company-wide strategy initiatives
- Serve as a liaison for key corporate stakeholders to ensure plant performance is meeting expectations
Problem Solving & Change Management
- Analyze complex challenges and implement sustainable solutions that deliver measurable results
- Lead change management efforts to implement new systems, processes, or technologies with minimal disruption
- Anticipate future operational needs and proactively address bottlenecks or risks
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical field – Required
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment – Required
- Proven track record of improving plant operations and implementing strategic initiatives
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
