We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s team. This individual will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving manufacturing efficiency, and supporting quality standards across operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering principles, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Position Responsibilities
Process Optimization
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Equipment & Tooling Support
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, tools, and technologies
- Support installation, testing, and validation of manufacturing equipment
- Ensure all tools and machines meet performance and safety standards
Quality & Compliance
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues affecting product quality or timelines
- Support documentation and standard operating procedure (SOP) development
Cost & Resource Management
- Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize material usage
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance
- Track project timelines and budgets for engineering activities
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
