We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Product Specialist who brings both clinical nuclear cardiology experience and a passion for education, software, and innovation. This unique role blends hands-on expertise with cardiac imaging technologies and an opportunity to influence product development, documentation, customer training, and research.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) ready to transition from direct patient care to a dynamic office-based environment supporting customers, products, and internal teams in the cardiac SPECT & PET imaging space.
Position Responsibilities
Customer Training & Support
- Provide in-depth training to physicians and technologists on advanced imaging software at hospitals nationwide (travel required).
- Customize and configure installations to meet clinical and workflow needs.
- Document all training activities, configurations, and client feedback.
- Assist with sales demonstrations and pre-sales support.
- Create educational presentations, training content, and user narratives.
Product Documentation & Research
- Draft and maintain clear, professional materials, including:
- User Guides
- Clinical Guidance Documentation
- Training Narratives
- Product Collateral
- Research and summarize clinical and industry trends as needed.
- Contribute to technical papers, white papers, and abstracts.
- Participate in grant writing and support clinical image dataset management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support sales teams with customer engagement, product explanation, and materials.
- Assist in software testing, feedback gathering, and process improvement with development teams.
- Contribute to internal documentation and SOP development.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Medical Imaging, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on clinical nuclear medicine experience, preferably cardiac-focused.
- Demonstrated ability in technical writing, with sample materials available.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint, and general computer literacy.
- Experience with SPECT and PET cardiac imaging modalities and protocols.
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- ARRT(N) certification
