We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to lead advanced engineering initiatives in product design, development, and continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities
Product Development & Design
- Lead complex mechanical design projects from concept to production, ensuring performance and quality standards are met.
- Use advanced CAD tools to develop detailed mechanical components and systems.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Engineering Analysis
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, and simulations to verify product performance.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address design or production issues.
Project Management
- Manage engineering projects, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Support product validation and verification activities through testing and documentation.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
- Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering continuous learning.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
Documentation & Compliance
- Generate and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and internal protocols.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in product development environments
- Strong proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and engineering analysis software
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- GD&T Certification
- Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)
