Position Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify growth opportunities through market research, customer feedback, and industry trends.
- Set KPIs and track performance to ensure consistent execution and accountability.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales professionals to foster a culture of excellence and achievement.
- Support career development through mentorship and performance reviews.
- Recruit and onboard top talent to build a high-performance sales organization.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and trust.
- Ensure a deep understanding of customer needs to deliver tailored solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with company goals.
- Provide input into product development and customer service strategies based on market feedback.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting to senior leadership.
- Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness and relevance.
Prerequisites
- 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and expand market presence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience managing teams
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- Certified Sales Executive (CSE)
- Strategic Sales Management Certification
