We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Laser Operator to join our client’s production team. This role is essential to supporting daily manufacturing operations by operating laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Position Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate laser cutting equipment according to safety standards and production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments to maintain output quality.
Material Handling
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
- Ensure correct placement of materials for accurate laser cutting.
Quality Support
- Assist in maintaining consistent product quality through visual checks and basic measurements.
- Report defects or inconsistencies to supervisors for corrective action.
Safety & Maintenance
- Follow established safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
Prerequisites
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certifications in machining, fabrication, or manufacturing processes are a plus but not required.
