The Nashville Senior Engineering Manager will lead several engineers in designing assembly systems within assigned areas of the facility. The Nashville Senior Engineering Manager will develop budgets and plants for new processes and products. The Nashville Senior Engineering Manager will develop plans and direct the actions of engineers on the team.
Provide support for manufacturing systems throughout the plant.
Take part in and oversee troubleshooting, training, changes in process and design, and other modifications.
The Nashville Senior Engineering Manager will create budgets for new model launches.
Create manufacturing plans for new models, modify manufacturing processes, and implement new materials as necessary.
Plan, oversee, and coordinate modifications to the facility in the interest of safety, ergonomics, equality, and uptime. Supervise staff modifying or repairing equipment to keep optimum conditions.

Sr. Engineering Manager (Nashville Area) Job Requirements:

A minimum of a four year engineering degree from an accredited university.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to motivate others.
Understanding of paint systems.
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Knowledge of quality management systems.
At least ten years of automotive manufacturing experience.
A minimum of five years of supervisory/management experience. Able to train, lead, and develop a staff with varying duties.
Good computer skills, able to operate word processing software, spreadsheet software, and modeling software.
