Mechanical Engineer (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:
- A four year degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, masters degree would be preferable.
- At least five years of experience designing mechanical systems.
- Familiar with designing tooling and fixtures in 3D modeling software.
- Familiar with Autodesk Inventor software.
- Experience designing equipment for automated manufacturing processes.
- Experience designing complex, precision assemblies.
- Understanding of standards for manufacturing safety.
- Familiar with Microsoft office suite of programs, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Familiar with prototype designs and builds leading up to transfers to production.
- Detail-oriented mind set.
- Able to develop creative solutions to problems.
- Proven history of meeting project deadlines.
- Devoted to continuously learning and keeping up with trends in the industry.
