Our client, a leading provider of Technical Services & Engineering support, is looking to hire a committed Engineering Manager. This role involves providing support to VRW Sales and Manufacturing in Mechanical Engineering, including customer process troubleshooting, new fabrication and roll repair design and redesign, and providing CAD drawings. The successful candidate should be a strong team player, capable of identifying problems and arriving at solutions that benefit VRW.
Engineering Manager Job Opening Responsibilities:
- Provide support to VRW Sales and Manufacturing in Mechanical Engineering.
- Troubleshoot customer processes, design and redesign new fabrication and roll repair.
- Provide CAD drawings.
- Hold primary Technical Services responsibility for VRW’s internal and subcontracted Thermal Spray products.
- Support Sales at customer facilities representing VRW’s Technical Services department.
- Assist VRW’s Operations Group in developing, evaluating, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with VRW’s Manufacturing and Maintenance personnel regarding equipment improvements.
- Assist in managing VRW’s capital expenditure budget.
- Actively propose & participate in continuous improvement efforts across VRW.
Engineering Manager Job Opening Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in CAD and other mechanical engineering applications.
- Strong team player, aggressiveness and effectiveness in identifying problems.
- This position reports to the VP – Sales & Technology.
