The main job of the Los Angeles CNC Programmer is to develop programming for milling and supplementary machinery and fixtures within the organization’s machining shop. The CNC Programmer will work closely with team members from the engineering, quality, and production departments to collaborate on the proper execution of the design of fixture and jigs. A major responsibility of the Los Angeles CNC Programmer will be to ensure the safety of operations by confirming the machining shop’s compliance with regulations and requirements. Additionally, the Los Angeles CNC Programmer will be expected to utilize his or her excellent mathematic skills to assist in the design of equipment and machinery. For this job, the ideal CNC Programmer will report directly to a supervisor and will be able to succeed while working under minimal direction.

For this job, there are no travel requirements outside of Los Angeles, California.
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for facilitating cross-functional relationships with engineering, quality assurance, and production team members to ensure the proper execution of fixture designs.

CNC Programmer (Los Angeles Area) Job Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or an equivalent for this job.
Must have at least three years of experience in CNC programming.
Relevant programming certifications are a plus for this job.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal,
Ability to read and understand blue prints is a must for this job.
