Phoenix Plant Manager Overview:
A Plant Manager is needed in the greater Phoenix, Arizona Area to directly oversee all plant operations of a large food manufacturing facility. In this role, the successful Plant Manager will develop and execute strategic policies and procedures to maximize production and increase employee engagement. The candidate will also directly manage departmental managers and hourly employees through training and development in order to maintain a positive work environment in a large Phoenix, Arizona based manufacturing facility. Additionally, the Phoenix, Arizona area Plant Manager will also use lean principles and continuous improvement to enhance plant capabilities. Ultimately, the ideal Plant Manager will develop a strategic vision to manage costs and move the plant forward with the improved business.
Phoenix Plant Manager Job Opening
- This job requires the development and implementation of plant-specific operations strategies.
- The Plant Manager will ensure production is in compliance with all government regulations (OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, FLSA, EEO, OFCCP, and NLRB) and corporate policies.
- This job will develop and manage the facility budget.
- The candidate will optimize production by coordinating between the organization and suppliers, and efficient use of machines and equipment.
- This job will continuously improve plant productivity and reliability by utilizing OEE and process data.
Plant Manager (Phoenix Area) Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, food science, or related field is required for this job.
- At least 5-8 years of manufacturing experience with a senior leadership role in food production is expected.
- Experience with lean/continuous improvement is preferred.
- This job requires a proven track record of exceeding target goals and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this role.
