Detroit Electrical Engineering Supervisor Overview:

The Detroit Electrical Engineering Supervisor will supervise electrical engineers and technicians in their day to day activities. The Detroit Electrical Engineering Supervisor will ensure that work completed by engineers and technicians meets company standards. He or She will provide assistance, direction, and coaching to electrical engineers and technicians within the department. In addition to thsi, the Electrical Engineering Supervisor will suggest modifications to improve the operation of equipment and to mitigate issues.

Detroit Electrical Engineering Supervisor Job Opening

• Perform reviews of technical documents to ensure that everything meets compliance standards.
• Perform quality tests and evaluations of products to ensure that products fulfill their requirements and purpose.
• The Detroit Electrical Engineering Supervisor will assist engineers other engineers with electrical engineering work, providing insight and expertise to projects.
• Analyze electrical systems within equipment, perform analysis to ensure that the equipment and its components function optimally.
• The Detroit Electrical Engineering Supervisor will lead the investigation of design failures and other issues.
• Create processes and procedures for testing equipment and components.
• Check cost estimates and confirm that figures are accurate.

Electrical Engineering Supervisor (Detroit Area) Job Requirements:

• achelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience within a related field.
• A deep understanding of HVAC equipment and electronic controls within them.
• Previous experience as a supervisor would be preferred.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or other similar software.
• An understanding of project management processes.
• Great organizational skills, able to manage several priorities at once.
