There is a Plant Manager job opening in the greater Alexandria, Louisiana area. The Alexandria Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all inventory and materials. Furthermore, the selected individual is expected to implement lean material techniques to maximize profits and reduce waste. Other responsibilities including managing the labor force and negotiations with union officials and if any employee issues arise. In addition, the Alexandria Plant Manager will be responsible for coaching all current employees. Majority of categories where development may be required include safety, quality, waste reduction, and lean process improvements. The facility this role is located in conducts repair work on heavy equipment. Thus, the Alexandria Plant Manager will be required to inspect all repaired machines to ensure all regulations and safety requirements are met.

• This job requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field from an accredited four-year university or institution.
• This job requires at least ten (10) years of plant manager experience.
• This role requires at least five (5) years of manufacturing experience.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy machine repairs and maintenance.
• The qualified candidate will have experience with management and accounting principles.
