Philadelphia Quality Manager Overview:
The Philadelphia Quality Manager will ensure that the manufacturing facility maintains high manufacturing standards through consistent audits and investigations. The Philadelphia Quality Manager will direct and oversee the Quality Technician Team. The Philadelphia Quality Manager will report directly the Director of Quality Manufacturing. This person will participate in the investigation of product defects and all other quality issues. Additionally, the Quality Manager will assist with lean projects and events.
Philadelphia Quality Manager Job Opening:
- The Philadelphia Quality Manager will implement checks and standards to ensure that products manufactured within the facility meet internal and external quality standards.
- Ensure that quality technicians are trained in proper techniques for ensuring product quality.
- Develop training manuals and other materials for quality systems.
- The Philadelphia Quality Manager will work with customers to solve quality issues.
- Participate in lean and kaizen events.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and training for lean and kaizen events.
- The Philadelphia Quality Manager will prepare the facility for quality audits and will serve as a key member of the team participating in quality audits.
Quality Manager (Philadelphia Area) Job Requirements:
- A degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited four-year institution.
- At least five years of related experience in a quality position for a manufacturing company.
- At least three years of management experience.
- Great math skills, able to perform complex calculations.
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly communicate ideas to personnel at varying levels of the organization.
- Great organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage several priorities simultaneously, able to meet staggered deadlines.
