East Coast Plant Manager Overview:

A Plant Manager is needed on the East Coast to directly oversee all plant operations of a large food manufacturing facility. In this role, the successful Plant Manager will develop and execute strategic policies and procedures to maximize production and increase employee engagement. The candidate will also directly manage departmental managers and hourly employees through training and development in order to maintain a positive work environment in a large East Coast manufacturing facility. Additionally, the East Coast Plant Manager will also use lean principles and continuous improvement to enhance plant capabilities. Ultimately, the ideal Plant Manager will develop a strategic vision to manage costs and move the plant forward with improved business.

East Coast Plant Manager Job Opening

• This job requires the development and execution of plant-specific operations strategies.
• The Plant Manager will ensure compliance with all government regulations (OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, FLSA, EEO, OFCCP, and NLRB) and corporate policies.
• This job assists with the development and management of facility budget.
• The candidate will optimize production through coordination with the organization and suppliers, and efficient use of machines and equipment.
• This job will continuously improve plant productivity and reliability by utilizing OEE and process data. 

Plant Manager (East Coast Region) Job Requirements:

• This job requires a four-year degree from an accredited university in engineering, operations management, food science, or related field.
• At least 5-8 years of manufacturing experience with a senior leadership role in food production is expected.
• Experience with lean/continuous improvement is preferred.
• This job requires a proven track record of exceeding target goals and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
