San Juan area Materials Manager Overview:

The Materials Managers job will be to lead all procurement and inventory activities in the San Juan, Puerto Rico site. This will mean the Materials Manager will be expected to prepare and lead all daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing the performance of the site. This person must be able to then analyze the information and data within the report to determine any corrective actions or process improvements that need to be made. As the purchasing lead at this site the job candidate must be able to develop strong client-supplier relationships.

San Juan area Materials Manager Job Opening

This role will involve being the site lead for a large corporation and will therefore require someone who can thrive without supervision.
The Materials Manager will be involved in the vendor selection, determine the appropriate bid selection, and contract negotiation.
In the job the Materials Manager will be responsible for inventory management.
As this person will be involved in improving supply chain process, some previous experience in continuous improvement would help.

Materials Manager (San Juan area) Job Requirements:

A minimum of five years’ experience in MRO buying and sourcing is required for this job.
This job may require some supervision of other staff as needed, and therefore at least two years of supervision or managerial experience is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a Business manager is required.
